Preseli Pembrokeshire Assembly Member Paul Davies welcomes the Welsh Government's statement to consider offering targeted relief in Enterprise Zones. This week, the Minister for Business, Enterprise, Technology and Science, announced that her officials would be considering targeted business relief in response to recommendations made by the Business Rates Task and Finish Group report, led by Professor Brian Morgan.
Mr Davies said: "I am pleased that the Welsh Government is looking at supporting businesses in Enterprise Zone areas, as this will have a huge effect on businesses in Milford Haven, where the Haven Waterway enterprise zone has been designated. I hope that the Welsh Government continues to engage with key stakeholders and the enterprise zone Chair to help support businesses and communities in this enterprise zone, here in Pembrokeshire."
