Local AM Paul Davies met with epilepsy clinicians and patients this week at the 'We Want Excellence Event' held by Epilepsy Action Cymru. The event aimed to raise awareness of the detailed challenges of epilepsy and ensure that the highest level of treatment, support and education can be delivered. At the event, Mr Davies was able to speak with epilepsy specialists within the field and hear first-hand accounts from patients.
Mr Davies commented, "I was delighted to attend such an important event. I was honoured to have the chance to speak to clinicians and epilepsy patients and to support any action that would benefit the almost half a million UK's epilepsy sufferers. The work of Epilepsy Action Cymru is invaluable with the information, support and guidance that they provide. I will continue to support any efforts made by Epilepsy Action Cymru in the future and I look forward to working with them closely."
