Local Assembly Member Paul Davies has called for the Welsh Government to promote Pembrokeshire as a filming location for film and television during a round of Ministerial questions, with the Minister for the Economy, Science and Transport. Mr Davies highlighted how filming in the County is a great opportunity to showcase Pembrokeshire to the film industry.
Mr Davies said, “I was delighted to highlight Pembrokeshire’s growing success as a film location in the Assembly Chamber and I’m proud that filmmakers continue to come to the area to film everything from TV shows to blockbuster movies. Pembrokeshire is a stunning backdrop for the film and television industry and the Welsh Government need to capitalise on its growing reputation. Filming in Pembrokeshire provides us with an opportunity to market the County on a national and some cases international stage and the Welsh Government needs to work with the relevant authorities and the industry to see this practice continue for years to come.”
