Local Assembly Member Paul Davies has visited the Coach House Visitor Centre at St Dogmaels Abbey to see the community facilities on offer. The Coach House is the visitor centre of St Dogmaels Abbey in North Pembrokeshire and it’s also the home of community charity Hanes Llandoch.
Mr Davies said, “It was a pleasure to visit the Coach House Visitor Centre and learn more about how it’s used by the community. The Centre hosts a museum exhibiting carved stones and artefacts from the abbey, a café and you can hire a room for talks, conferences and functions.”
He added, “However, despite the hard work of the staff and local people, more needs to be done to raise awareness of this community facility. I will be making representations to the Welsh Government and Visit Wales regarding the feasibility of a brown tourist sign to help promote the Centre. It’s important that people are aware of this attraction and that its facilities are being used throughout the calendar year.”
