Local Assembly Member Paul Davies has attended an art workshop run by local artist Cynth Weyman at Ysgo Bro Dewi. Mr Davies attended the workshop, which was run as a result of his Christmas card competition. One of the class’ pupils, Tabitha Lindsey produced the winning Christmas card and won a kindle and an art class for her fellow pupils.
Mr Davies said: “I was delighted to attend the art workshop for Tabitha’s class. It was a very fun morning and Cynth Weyman did a fantastic job of working with the school children. Tabitha and her fellow classmates showed some great creativity and the workshop really showed how important it is for children to explore their artistic side. I sincerely hope that everyone enjoyed the art class and I thank the staff at Ysgol Bro Dewi for allowing us to come to the school and take part in the workshop.”
