Local Assembly Member Paul Davies has once again called for a statement on the Welsh Government’s delivery of broadband across Wales, following complaints from constituents across Pembrokeshire who continue to receive a poor service.
Mr Davies said: “The Welsh Government are keen to emphasise the success of rolling out superfast broadband across Wales and yet in areas of Pembrokeshire, communities are still facing poor broadband speeds and substandard services. Now last year the Minister promised that rural communities wouldn’t be left behind – but that’s not the experience of some of my constituents.”
He added, “It’s essential that the Welsh Government addresses the issue of rolling out broadband in Pembrokeshire and provides a firm timetable for communities across the County. I hope to meet with the Minister to formally discuss this matter and how we can improve services for people living in Pembrokeshire.”
