Local Assembly Member Paul Davies has welcomed the announcement from the Welsh Government that more than £300,000 has been approved for a technical and commercial feasibility study into the Pembrokeshire wave energy demonstration zone.
Mr Davies said, “This is very welcome news for the marine energy sector in Pembrokeshire. This vital funding will result in a number of important developments including a technical feasibility study and identifying an appropriate delivery model.”
He added, “Pembrokeshire has some of the best marine energy resources in the world and this vital funding will go some way to ensuring that Pembrokeshire remains a global player for the future.”
