Senedd Member Paul Davies has recently visited a luxury dog boarding kennels near Haverfordwest. Mr Davies visited Millin Brook Luxury Boarding Kennels, which offers bespoke holiday experiences for dogs.
The business was set up in 2018 by retired police officer Sian Smith and has quickly gained national recognition. It was named Kennel Business of the Year at the 2022 Pet Industry Federation Awards, was recognised as one of this year’s most exceptional business leaders at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2022 Grand Final and was also awarded Family Business Entrepreneur of the Year.
Mr Davies said, “Millin Brook is a true Pembrokeshire success story and I was delighted to visit the site and learn more about the experiences that are on offer. It really is a labour of love and it was great to see their exceptional facilities and learn more about their work.”
He added, “It’s fantastic to see Millin Brook being recognised nationally for its high standards and I’m sure the business will continue to go from strength to strength in the future. I wish Sian and Dave the very best of luck in the future and have no doubt that Millin Brook will continue to receive high praise and recognition going forward.”
