Mount Milk, a family run dairy farm in Solva was recently visited by Senedd Member Paul Davies. Mr Davies met with Rob and Lindsey Richards to hear more about their products and see their famous vending machine at Bay View Stores. Mr Davies heard about how the milk is produced as environmentally friendly as possible and sold in refillable glass bottles, to cut down on plastic waste.
Mr Davies said, “The operation at Mount Milk is very impressive – not only is the Richards family producing high quality milk, but they’re also supporting the local green agenda by selling their products in an environmentally sensitive way. It’s great to hear that the local community have supported this initiative and I do hope people across Pembrokeshire also show their support by popping into Bay View Stores in Solva and purchasing a bottle of milk when they can. It was a real pleasure to visit the farm and see their work and I hope that Mount Milk continues to go from strength to strength in the future.”
