Local Senedd Member Paul Davies has recently visited No 5 Quay Street, a gift shop in Haverfordwest to hear more about the impact of Covid-19 on its business. Run by Mark and Sally Evans, the business is one of many across Pembrokeshire that has been affected by the pandemic. Mr Davies heard about how the pandemic affected the business and how it needs the support of the local community to help ensure its sustainability.
Mr Davies said, “Small businesses like No 5 Quay Street are an important part of our local communities and it’s vital that we all do everything we can to support them post-pandemic. It’s been a gruelling time for local businesses and only by shopping local and supporting them can we help to ensure that they survive. Therefore, I urge people across Pembrokeshire to think before you shop – can you buy this item locally? Can you support one of our local businesses? If the answer is yes, then please buy locally, help support Pembrokeshire’s businesses and safeguard local jobs”
