Local Assembly Member Paul Davies is proudly sponsoring a local artist’s exhibition at the National Assembly for Wales. ‘Escapism in Colour: Pembrokeshire’ an exhibition by local artist Cynth Weyman brings the beauty of Pembrokeshire to the National Assembly through paintings, textile reliefs, giclee prints and ‘posh scarves.’
Mr Davies said, “I was delighted to sponsor Cynth’s exhibition, which truly captures the spirit of Pembrokeshire. Her exhibition demonstrates her detailed craftsmanship with a range of artistic techniques. There’s a great narrative throughout the pieces in her collection, which are clearly inspired by our local area and it was great to see Cynth bringing out familiar features from Milford Haven to Fishguard.”
He added, “Cynth’s exhibition is running until the 29th October and members of the public are welcome to visit the Futures Gallery at the Pierhead Building in Cardiff Bay, to see her work first-hand. I sincerely hope the exhibition is a success and I encourage the people of Pembrokeshire to support her work and help put Pembrokeshire on the map!”
