Local Assembly Member Paul Davies recently attended a ‘bake off’ style event hosted by Milford Haven Youth Council. Seven teams from across the county came together to compete for this year’s title, but it was a superb exploding M&M cake which won first prize.
He said, “It was a real pleasure to once again judge the annual bake off competition and I applaud all of the bakers who took part. It wasn’t easy to choose a winner, but the exploding M&M cake was a real showstopper – and so congratulations to this year’s winners. The bake off is fast becoming one of the highlights of the summer, giving politicians like myself a great opportunity to engage with the Youth Council and discuss some of the local issues that they’re affected by. Therefore, I’d like to congratulate Milford Haven Youth Council and Pembrokeshire Children and Young People's Rights Office (CYPRO) for organising another fantastic event and I look forward to supporting next year’s event!”
