Following a successful visit to Coleg Plas Dwbl in Pembrokeshire, Local Assembly Member Paul Davies was pleased to speak at an event in the Preseli Room at the Millennium Centre recently. The assembled guests were given an exciting presentation about the future projects for the college, and we heard from two ex-pupils who have learnt valuable life skills with the aspiration to be able to live and work independently in the future. Both speakers spoke with confidence and passion about the opportunities they have been afforded by the College.
Local Assembly Member Paul Davies said, “I am delighted to learn about Coleg Plas Dwbl’s future plans and how the Ruskin Mill Trust are looking to invest, not just in monetary terms, but into the local community too. It was wonderful to see a wide array of items made in Wales in the room, carefully crafted and designed by the pupils. I am looking forward to seeing the future proposals come to fruition which will undoubtedly provide exceptional life changing opportunities for a number of young people in Pembrokeshire.”
