Senedd Member Paul Davies recently visited Llys-y-Frân, following its redevelopment into an outdoor activity centre. Mr Davies was shown around by Attractions Manager Mark Hillary, who showed him some of the activities on offer such as watersports, cycling, archery and even an adventure playground for children.
Mr Davies said, “The development work that has been done at Llys-y-Frân was outstanding and the site now has a huge range of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Whether you’re into walking, watersports or even just fancy a coffee in their new visitor café, the place has something for everyone. The site is free to enter and so I’d encourage everyone to take advantage of this fantastic new facility and enjoy some of the activities on offer. The pandemic has reminded us all of the importance of maintaining good physical and mental health and spending time at Llys-y-Frân is an excellent way to get some fresh air and enjoy the local landscape.”
