Local Assembly Member Paul Davies has recently met with representatives of the Pembrokeshire Local Action Network for Enterprise and Development (PLANED), a local community-led partnership which supports and delivers grass roots projects across Pembrokeshire. PLANED works with communities, public sector and voluntary partners and special interest groups to undertake locally integrated development and are keen for local groups to get in touch and find out more about the work that they do.
Mr Davies said, “I was delighted to meet with representatives of PLANED to hear more about the community projects that they’re currently working on. PLANED has helped communities develop a range of projects such as renewable energy schemes, improving village halls and they’ve even established a Pembrokeshire Sustainable Agriculture Network as a forum for local farmers.”
He added, “It’s so important that community groups engage with PLANED and find out how they can help develop local initiatives. If you’re looking for support in your town or village then I’d strongly urge you to contact PLANED and see if there’s anything that they can do to help you. You can find out more about the Network at http://www.planed.org.uk/”
