Local Assembly Member Paul Davies recently visited a Community Pharmacy in Crymych to be updated on the increasing number of services that are offered.
Commenting on his visit to EP Parry Pharmacy in Crymych, Paul Davies said “It was good to meet with Phil Parry and his team again. I know through first-hand experience of the excellent work that the pharmacy does. The increasing number of services offered by pharmacies is seeing more of a ‘one stop shop’, and therefore hopefully reducing pressure on GP resources.”
“Community pharmacies are particularly important in more rural communities such as Crymych as it should allow people to access many services closer to home.”
“It was also interesting to hear from Mr Parry of the challenges of being a community pharmacist and I will certainly reflect on these. It is very important that community pharmacies are able to go about their vital work with the correct support and I will highlight this at every available opportunity.”
