Local Assembly Member Paul Davies recently visited The Citizens Advice office in Haverfordwest. Paul met with Chief Executive Geraldine Murphy, Trustee Alan Furlong and Advice Senior Manager Nikki Neufeld. Paul was also able to speak to case workers in what was a very informative visit.
Citizens Advice Pembrokeshire was formed as a local independent charity in 2008 and they provide free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone. People needing assistance can obtain it in person by visiting the office at 43 Cartlett, Haverfordwest, on the telephone or by e-mail. In addition to the Haverfordwest office, drop in sessions are held in Fishguard, St David’s, Goodwick and Milford Haven, along with locations in South Pembrokeshire (check www.pembscab.org/opening-times for details).
Commenting on his visit Paul Davies said “I was pleased to meet the Chief Executive, staff and volunteers at the Citizens Advice Pembrokeshire office in Haverfordwest. They clearly provide an invaluable service to the many people that use them, and their expertise stretches over many subject areas.”
“It was good to meet some of the volunteers who undertake a much valued role alongside the Citizens Advice staff. With Volunteers Week being between 1st and 7th June, if you feel you would be interested in a role where you are clearly helping people, then please contact Citizens Advice Pembrokeshire on 01437 767936.”
