A call for further support to those struggling with substandard broadband provision has been made by local Assembly Member Paul Davies. During an exchange with the First Minister, Mr Davies asked for the Welsh Government to do more to ensure that all communities have adequate access to online resources throughout the pandemic period.
Mr Davies said, “As the people of Pembrokeshire continue to live and work from home, it’s crucial that all households have access to a decent broadband service. The lockdown period has stressed the importance of a decent internet connection to ensure pupils can access the latest educational resources, families have access to financial applications and those shielding can access home delivery slots for groceries. We have never relied on the internet quite as much as we do now and it’s vital that Governments at all levels are working together to ensure that everyone can have access to the very latest information and guidance both online and offline.
He added, “For weekly updates on the work I’m doing as your local Assembly Member and for the latest guidance, you can subscribe to my weekly newsletter on my website homepage - https://www.paul-davies.org.uk/”
