Local Senedd Member Paul Davies has recently met with the management of a local Boots store to discuss community-based healthcare and how Boots is working to improve pharmacy services. Mr Davies met with Alex Williams and Rebecca Thomas at the Boots store in Haverfordwest and spent some time learning about how Boots has been supporting customers throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and helping deliver the flu vaccine.
Mr Davies said, “I’m very grateful to Alex and Rebecca for taking the time to chat with me about some of the ways in which Boots has been supporting customers throughout the pandemic. Boots are one of the largest employers of healthcare professionals in the country outside the NHS, offering pharmacy, eye and ear health services and they provide these services on our high streets making those services as accessible as possible. The pandemic has shone a spotlight on the importance of receiving healthcare as close to home and it’s great to see Boots providing vital treatments and services in our local communities.”
