Commenting on the UK Government's Autumn Statement, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives Andrew RT Davies AM, said:
"This statement confirms the UK Government's committed focus on economic growth and community support.
"From fuel duty to tax breaks, from infrastructure to small businesses - this statement will have huge benefits for communities the length and breadth of Wales. This is in stark contrast to Welsh Labour's tired policies and casino economics.
"The UK Government's business rates cap is hugely valuable – and its high street rates discount leads the way in England. It's now up to Carwyn Jones and Welsh Labour to immediately follow suit."
Welsh Conservative Shadow Minister for Finance, Paul Davies AM, said:
"This statement provides further help and support for Wales and I welcome it wholeheartedly.
"This is about growing our economy and supporting families – and it's now up to Labour ministers in Wales to look hard at the decisions they can make to do the same.
"As a result of the UK Government's spending decisions, the Welsh Government will see a net increase of around 100 million pounds over the next two years.
"Comprehensive discussions are now required on how to out this money to best use."
